Eckman Construction Welcomes Elizabeth Fluharty, Project Engineer

Eckman Construction is excited to welcome Elizabeth Fluharty, Project Engineer, to our team! Her strong experience in the field and documentation helps us bridge the gap between the office and the site, and her proactivity, organization, and communication brings it all together. Her comprehensive understanding of how each site develops and attention to detail allows her and her team to tackle challenges before they arise. On top of that, she always keeps communication and safety as a priority, ensuring each project runs smoothly.

The most rewarding part of her job is seeing a project come together from conception to finish. Being a part of a team that helps bring something on paper to real life—and last a long time—motivates her skills in communication and collaboration. That plus her love of learning so she can improve herself brings the best out of her role. “Always keep learning. There’s so much to know, and once we learn it we can implement it in other areas of our life, careers,” Elizabeth says.

Whether at work or off the clock, Elizabeth loves to work with her hands to create something. From building various personal projects to improving her home—or helping others with their home improvement projects—she loves the handiwork. She also enjoys hiking, yoga, running, and woodworking.
