Meet the Team: Miguel Lopez

Miguel Lopez joins Eckman Construction as estimator. With a BS in Construction Management and an Associate’s in Accounting from UVU, Miguel brings extensive experience and knowledge in cost control and in-house construction. As estimator, he will analyze project scopes and review estimates to ensure full coverage and compliance with each project’s specifications. His valuable insights, hard work, and prior experience will help Eckman grow in both our estimations and results as a whole.

His easy-going nature allows him to easily connect with clients. “I focus on creating lasting relationships with clients that always lead to win-win scenarios,” he says. “I understand the value in collaborative approach with clients to create repeat partnerships.” At the core of this is communication—both with the client and the team. “Communication is key to getting things on track,” he continues. “All team members must be aware of the issue to help create the most effective solution.” His easy connection with clients paired with prioritized communication and makes him a valuable addition to the Eckman team.

When he is not working, his hobbies encompass traveling, golf, soccer, and food. He likes to cook, and his favorite dish to make is Carne Asada. He wants to visit all seven continents as his bucket list—two down, five to go.
