Eckman Construction is excited to welcome Dana Hill, Superintendent, to our team! With expert technical knowledge and a ready willingness to take care of client needs, Dana brings expertise and key communication skills to every project. With a calm ability to adapt to changing situations and any problems that arise, he finds the best solutions through listening with care and smooth collaboration. No matter potential setbacks, clients know that Dana has their project as his priority, showing care and ownership as he helps his team make strong moves in the right direction each step of the way.

For Dana, it’s creating something that will last generations that he finds the most rewarding about his work. This is reflected in his experience investing in long-lasting opportunities over the temporary.

“I had a boss when I was young that let me off work for an OR show for setup and take-down. They needed me for another day, and I called and told him I wanted to work that extra day,” Dana shares. When his boss permitted this but asked about this experience later, Dana realized that even though he didn’t lose his job, he took his permanent employment position for granted. “I told him that [the show] was over and they were out of town. He just looked at me and smiled.” He has carried this lesson—not to prioritize the temporary—forward ever since.

This memory is a part of growing up as a performer. For over 18 years, Dana Hill traveled and performed across the country for places like Disney and more. Today, he still enjoys traveling as well as spending time with his family.
