Cooper Eckman

Owner & President

Cooper Eckman developed a passion for construction at an early age, growing up in the industry and ultimately choosing to build his career around it. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Utah Valley University and has gained hands-on experience across every facet of the business.

As President of Eckman Construction, Cooper leads the company’s operations while remaining actively involved with project teams, subcontractors, and clients from preconstruction through completion. His expertise in preconstruction planning is one of his greatest strengths, helping clients identify potential challenges early, develop practical solutions, and avoid costly delays before construction begins.

Under Cooper’s leadership, Eckman Construction has expanded beyond its industrial roots to become a trusted builder of public facilities and educational campuses throughout Utah. The company’s portfolio includes projects for the Utah Transit Authority, Utah Department of Transportation, Providence Hall High School, Juan Diego Catholic High School, Maple Mountain High School, Lincoln Academy and American Leadership Academy.

Committed to advancing both the construction industry and the communities he serves, Cooper sits on the Board of Directors for Juan Diego Catholic High School and is an active member of Associated General Contractors of Utah. He also proudly carries forward the mission of Eckman Cares, the company’s community outreach initiative dedicated to supporting local organizations through volunteer service, skilled labor, and charitable giving. Cooper holds a General Contractor license in both Utah and Idaho.

For Cooper, success is measured by more than completing projects. It’s about building lasting relationships, strengthening communities, and ensuring Eckman Excellence for generations to come.
