Eckman Construction is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team. We offer competitive pay, and a generous benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and point them in the right direction, answer inquiries, and create a welcoming environment
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required including general communications, such as memos, emails, reports, accounting, and filing
  • Maintains security and telecommunications system
  • Maintains employee and department directories
  • Operates telecommunication system by following manufacturer’s instructions for house phone and console operation
  • Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail
  • Maintain and order office supplies
  • Always keeps a safe and clean reception area

Minimum Experience/ Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2-3 years of admin or office experience
  • A high degree of attention to detail
  • Capable of multi-tasking lots of different priorities
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Flexible and adapts to fast-paced environments
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Data entry experience
  • Spanish speaking is a plus
